Halina Vision 500 — entry-level 35mm film compact from Halina's budget Vision series

Halina, the camera brand of Hong Kong manufacturer Haking, sold a wide range of budget 35mm compacts through UK high-street and catalogue retailers from the 1950s onward. The Vision 500 belongs to Halina's Vision series of simple point-and-shoot 35mm cameras marketed in the 1990s to casual buyers.

The Vision 500 is a fixed-lens 35mm film compact with a built-in flash and basic automatic exposure, typical of Halina's entry-level output; focusing on cameras in this range was generally by zone or fixed-focus system rather than true autofocus. It accepts standard 35mm cartridges. Precise lens specification is not reliably documented in surviving catalogues.
