The Nikon AF Nikkor 16mm f/2.8D Fisheye is a full-frame fisheye prime for Nikon F-mount cameras. D = distance encoder for 3D Matrix Metering. Provides approximately 180° diagonal angle of view with extreme curvilinear distortion. Nikon F mount.

f/2.8 maximum aperture. 16mm focal length (full-frame fisheye, 180° diagonal). D distance encoder. AF (screw-drive). Extreme curvilinear distortion. Built-in four rear gelatin filter slots. At approximately 290g. Nikon F mount.

The 16mm D Fisheye covers the full 35mm frame with extreme barrel distortion. The built-in rear filter slot (four positions: CL1A, CL1B, Y52, O56) is used because the large bulbous front element prevents standard front filters. f/2.8 is fast for a fisheye.
