The Nikon Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S was released in 2020 as the first Z-mount constant f/2.8 telephoto zoom in the S-Line — Nikon's highest optical performance tier. The S-Line designation requires a specified MTF standard and includes ARNEO and Nano Crystal coatings for ghosting and flare control in backlit conditions.
