Olympus X-820 — 8MP compact with 3x zoom, 2007, also sold as FE-280/C-520

The X-820 is a mid-2000s Olympus compact digital camera, part of a family sold under several regional names, including the FE-280 and C-520, all sharing the same hardware under Olympus's Camedia-descended compact range. It targeted casual buyers wanting a simple pocket camera with a real zoom lens.

It carries an 8.0-megapixel sensor behind a lens offering 3x optical zoom, extended by a further 4x digital zoom, framed on a rear LCD monitor with automatic exposure modes aimed at point-and-shoot use. Storage is via a removable memory card, with power from a rechargeable battery pack typical of Olympus compacts of the period.
