Updated Pentax 67 medium format SLR, massive 6x7cm negatives with well-regarded lens system and SLR handling.

The Pentax 67 is a 6x7 medium format SLR camera in an SLR-style body resembling an oversized 35mm SLR — making it intuitive for 35mm photographers. The original Pentax 67 (earlier production version). Pentax 67 mount.

6x7 medium format film. Interchangeable lenses (Pentax 67 mount). Mirror lock-up. Manual exposure. TTL metering. At approximately 2400g (body). Pentax 67 mount.

The Pentax 67 is distinctive for its 35mm SLR-like handling despite the large 6x7 format — unlike the box-like design of many medium format SLRs. Mirror lock-up is essential to avoid vibration at the 6x7 negative size. The Pentax 67 II is the later, updated version.

On the used market the Pentax 67 is a sought-after 6x7 medium format body. Condition checks: mirror lock-up, metering, shutter, film advance. Pentax 67 mount — original version (not the 67 II).
