The Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX APO DG HSM (non-OS version) is a full-frame telephoto zoom for Nikon F-mount, covering the professional telephoto zoom range at constant f/2.8. Seventeen elements in 14 groups including 4 SLD elements. Nine aperture blades. 77mm filter thread. At 1,270g. 1.80m MFD. HSM motor. No optical stabilisation.

Minimum focus distance of 1.80m (1:7.8 maximum magnification at 200mm). HSM motor for fast, quiet AF. No OS (optical stabilisation). f/2.8 constant aperture. Full-frame coverage.

The non-OS EX APO DG HSM was Sigma's Art-predecessor professional telephoto zoom before the OS versions. The HSM motor provides quiet AF suited to sports and event use. The absence of OS means camera IBIS or technique compensates for camera shake at telephoto focal lengths. The DG designation confirms full-frame coverage.
