The Sigma 8mm f/4 EX Fisheye is a circular fisheye lens from Sigma's EX professional line for Canon EF-mount cameras, producing a full circular image within the 35mm frame rather than the full-frame diagonal coverage of a diagonal fisheye. The 8mm focal length achieves an approximately 180-degree angle of view in all directions.

The lens delivers 8mm at f/4 maximum aperture with a circular fisheye optical design, EX professional-grade construction, Canon EF autofocus coupling, and a built-in petal hood that cannot be removed. On full-frame Canon bodies, it produces the characteristic circular image with black corners.

Circular fisheye lenses have distinct applications from diagonal fisheyes — the circular image format is used for extreme creative effects, skateboarding and surfing action photography, planetarium projection, and scientific applications such as full-hemisphere sky capture for cloud and weather analysis.
