The Sony FE 35mm f/2.8 ZA Sonnar T* (SEL35F28Z) was released in 2013 as one of the original three FE-mount launch lenses, providing a compact 35mm prime designed specifically for travel with full-frame FE mirrorless bodies. The Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* designation reflects the optical formula and coating lineage.
