The Tamron 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 Di II VC HLD was released approximately 2017 as an updated version of Tamron's APS-C ultra-wide zoom for Nikon F mount. Di II confirms APS-C coverage; VC provides vibration compensation; HLD (High/Low Torque Drive) delivers fast, quiet AF. Nikon F mount.

The HLD (High/Low Torque Drive) motor system uses separate high-torque and low-torque motor modes for fast initial AF acquisition and precise final focus placement respectively — providing speed without sacrificing fine focus accuracy. The VC system enables handheld ultra-wide shooting in lower light. The 77mm filter thread is consistent with other Tamron Di II zooms, avoiding the need for step-up rings.
