The Yashica Electro 35 GT is a 35mm viewfinder film camera from Yashica, released approximately 1969. One of the most successful film compacts of its era — featuring a fixed f/1.7 lens and electronic aperture-priority exposure. Fixed lens — no interchangeable mount.

35mm film viewfinder camera. Fixed Yashinon-DX 45mm f/1.7 lens. Electronic aperture-priority exposure. Battery-dependent shutter (4V mercury battery — adaptable). Manual aperture control. At approximately 665g. Fixed lens — no interchangeable mount.

The Yashica Electro 35 series sold over 8 million cameras — one of the most popular 35mm cameras ever produced. The Yashinon f/1.7 lens delivers quality results. The original 4V mercury battery must be adapted to modern equivalents (PX32 or 4x LR44 adapter).
