The Biogon 35mm f/2 applies the symmetrical Biogon formula to the classic street and reportage focal length: the Biogon design's symmetry provides very low distortion at 35mm. The 43mm filter thread is compact. At 240g the lens is lightweight for an f/2 full-frame 35mm prime with T* coating.

On the used market the Zeiss 35mm f/2 Biogon T* ZM is available as a Leica M wide prime. Condition checks: focus helicoid smoothness, 43mm front element for marks. Manual focus only. Compatible with all Leica M-mount bodies.
