The Zeiss Biogon T* 28mm f/2.8 ZM is a wide-angle prime in Leica M bayonet mount (ZM designation), released as part of the Zeiss ZM rangefinder lens range. The Biogon optical design is a symmetrical or near-symmetrical wide-angle formula historically suited to rangefinder cameras, providing very low distortion and a flat field. Leica M mount.

f/2.8 maximum aperture. 28mm focal length. Approximately nine elements in seven groups. 46mm filter thread. At approximately 200g. T* anti-reflection coating. Manual focus with rangefinder coupling (Leica M bayonet). Compact dimensions for the focal length.
